How do i begin?... first i apologize about my english... Ok i get this Patrol almost two year ago, here in my city Esteli in the Norh of Nicaragua, there was this ad in the wall of a house saying: SE VENDE JEEP NISSAN PATROL AÑO 1974 DE DOBLE O SE CAMBIA POR GANADO (For Sale Jeep Nissan Patrol year 1974 fwd or i can exchange for cows !!!

) I decide to call the number in the wall and the owner said that he was asking $$$$ well a little to much for me, so i stop thinking of having a Patrol, in my country its a not common this Patrol Model. After a few months (4 or 5 months i think) i was driving around the town an i saw the ad on the wall again, i tell my wife to call the number and they said that they were asking only the half of the price for the Patrol,

, i make a stop and take a look of it, there it was, under a mango tree, this patrol smiling for me, dusty, rusty and whith this funny Mango smell. I make an Offer and 5 minute later i became a proudly owner of a Patrol. The rest is history.
Now a few pictures

After i pull it whith my pathfinder

Me and my new headache

Yolan,
I love mangos...you are a lucky man.
Thanks for the pictures. I believe you have a stock hardtop, which seems to be uncommon in central and south american countries...at least from the other photos I've seen.

What a great story, thank you for sharing! I find it interesting that the Patrol is rare in your country when they are so popular in South American countries. Keep up the good work. Is finding parts for your Patrol difficult for you where you are?
I will nick-name your Patrol Mango Patrol.

ylopez,
Welcome to the Forum.
The 60 Series Patrol is quite rare in the USA and parts are difficult to find. Do you have access to any Nissan dealer parts in Nicaragua?
