Those of you that spend quality time on RMP-O already know I picked up another 63 recently but in the interest of testing the new site and sharing with other folks, I thought I'd post it here. I'm not sure what will become of it although I'd love to do a frame up restore. Here is a picture for your viewing pleasure.Tripper

Thanks to all who are running the web site! These old rigs are about as cool as it gets and this site has a wealth of information. As for your new '63, she is another beauty, in the rough yes, and perfect for a full restoration.

Hey, I do have a question... are the hub caps original equipment? I have not seen those before. I like 'em.

Hubcaps are GMC's that came with it. They clip on to the original rims. I picked up 5 original rims, a softtop frame and an original tailgate. The odometer reads 16k and the previous owner said it was accurate. The front fenders were manufactured by the PO as the originals were shot but he did a pretty decent job. Here are some other goodies that came with it.; ;

He also told me the original looked identical to the one on the brochure cover below. Here are some other goodies that came with it.; ; ; ; ; ; ; Here is a link to my gallery with more photos. There is a red one in there that I just put there for reference. It is for sale in Syracuse last I knew.; ; http://www.npca-madtripper.com/gallery/ ... erypatrol/

Glad you like the gate. I still haven't had a chance to look everything over however I'm anxious to start tearing it down.; ; As far as the site goes, it is coming along. I wish we had more of a forum for discussions as the blog makes things more difficult. I'll try and get some more accomplished after the holidays.; ; Tripper
