adjusting the drums
I find I get a better adjustment if the wheel is off the ground, so I jack up each wheel as I adjust them. On the front there are 2 adjusters, front and rear on the backing plate. Adjust one until you can't spin the wheel by hand, then back it off about 1 or 2 clicks, or until you can spin the wheel with just a little bit of brake drag. Do the same thing with the other adjuster on that wheel. When you are done, there should be a little bit of brake drag when you spin the wheel, but the wheel should turn one full revolution before stopping when you spin it by hand. Same for the rear wheels, except there is only one adjuster on the rear wheels. It is at the bottom of the backing plate. Hopefully these were freed up when the brakes were being done, because they are normally frozen.
