Oil filter and internal bits

Me too.  At 52K miles engine sanded itself to death, quicky lube failed to install myriad wave washers, springs and seals which force dirty oil thru filter.   Aftermarket supplier "Moss" - advertizes in "Road & Track" rag - may be of help with missing oil filter innards for 1961-67 Austin Healy 3000.  Patrol and 3000 share filter element p/n.   After WWII British Austin Motor Company was charged with helping Nissan/Datsun get back on its feet.  Very small ecno-boxes were produced under license by Datsun in the 1950s.  (carbon copies including oil leaks.)   I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that oil filter internals are same, and even money that steering wheel from AH3000 drops in.   Good luck.
