Landcruiser trade for patrol

Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

Landcruiser trade for patrol

Post by npca-mike d »

Hello patrol peopleMy name is Mike and I have an interest in the nissan patrol.I know very little about this type of rig and would like to speak with some of you about a possible trade for my [daily driven] 1969 fj55 toyota landcruiser.I would like to be a part of the patrol....patrol.I honestly have no idea what they are worth or even how they are compared to the cruiser,I just know that they are great looking vehicles and that the pics that I saw on the site are just incredible.Great job on all the patrols and I am looking forward to speaking with any of you real soon. Thanks                                                                                          Mike

Hey MikeMy name is Ryan McGinnis....and I am a new owner of a nissan patrol(1965)....I have a friend who owns a similarly aged land cruiser(1969), we have both found them to be nearly equally fun to drive and suprisingly similar in abilities when it comes to 4x4 obstacles near where i live(La Grande, OR)I like my patrol......But a toyota is much easier to find parts for(my friend has had no trouble finding companies with everything he needs(if its affordable),  I however have had a devil of a time finding a simple starter.....fortunately there is a local autoelectric guy who does it all and will help me out
