carbureator???????
I need a carb. for my patrol he old is shot and is falling apart.....I would be more comfortable replacing the entire assembly if possible but cannot afford an expensive bill for such a small part of the engine. I need part numbers for compatibles or contemporary part numbers for originals(Napa told me that the nissan original part numbers are nonexistant as far as they are concerned......)so post a message, email me: runner_1@hotmail.com, whatever just help me

Suggest you read the discussion under the title of "Holley Carbs". Some good information and some good contacts for you.

Alex is a she and a darn good one at that.Try a Rochester 7015013 It come on my Patrol works great and the rebuild kit is less than $15 other versions of this carb came with auto choke is that's your desire. Main jet is a # 62 Gary

Patrol Goddess, I like that, maybe I should change my callname :)Oh ya? You also need to try my spanikopita, egg lemon soup, and 3 cheese and spinach stuffed jumbo pasta shells. I make good garlic bread too.So, Ryan, I did rebuild the carb on my Patrol. In Jan. or Feb. of '69 according to the parts catalog Nissan switched carbs, and as mine had a production date of Feb. '69 I had the latter. I got the rebuild kit at Champion Auto (cheap) by looking at that little tag attached to my carb that had a manufacturer's name and a number on it and the parts store was able to look it up from there. Unfortunately, though I thought I had been doing so well when I was restoring my Patrol, I guess that was one of 2 receipts I managed to not save, so I do not have the part number any longer. I suppose in a crunch I can go back with the info on the tag and get a part number.

Alex is indeed a she........ I hear quite attractive but, most importantly she is brilliant and nice. As you can see from above she knows her stuff... "Every knee shall bow and every tongues shall confess to the Glory of the Alex."Alex 3:16Jack

problem with mine is that it is a '65 patrol so I have the older carb.and nobody where I live(La Grande, OR ) even knows what a patrol is..........they all assume that it is a landcruiser, or an old jeep. when I refer to the patrol with most people they say "that jeepy thing out there?", which really pisses me off sometimes, but what can I do............

Ryan,; ; I feel your Patrol loneliness. I have people yell, honk and scream ("What the hell is that thing?") at mine all the time. I live in Portland, OR and recently rebuilt the carb on my '67. I got my kit at Schucks (Infact, I bought 2 because my head is slightly warped and needs 2 gaskets). Like Alex says there should be a metal tag on your carb and it should be a Rochester. I know they upped the HP in '66 so your might be different, but probably not. I know I have the part number and make at home for the kit. I'll post it when I get home.; ; Joe W
