Hi all, Got the original Canvas roof Fitted up, dad's fabricator mate made up a vertical Centre frame support that limited 66 and 67 g60's had. I Got the canvas bit clip over the Bar above your head an the Centre bow, and its over the back bow to clip to the studs. Its still probably 1" to short as it has shrunken, hopefully it will strectch back.
Also both side pieces are both shrunken in Length and height but hope somehow to get them fit a bit easier.
Any tips would be unreal, cheers G60mike

There was a thread before, that either RP , Esteban mentioned to stretch the canvas, soak it ? cant quite remember before fitting the canvas. I think you started the thread.
Either way we need photos !!!

Michael, for stretching the canvas you'll need a shinny day, and let the canvas exposed to the sun. Also, something that I had to do in a fabricated canvas that turned out a little short (the top part). I have to enlarge the elongated holes of the upper support members (see diagram) and then make the whole assembly a little shorter. Once fitted, and in a sunny day, you can start moving the supports to their natural position.

Really like your soft top Patrol. I parted out a 67 softie several years ago. Most of the parts went to BC, Canada.

Haven't done much to the old girl of present, Just fitted up the Rear Wheel Carrier and a spare, then I've just been planning what needs to be done to it for rego.
There is a few rust spots, but one mechanic up this was is very old School and says "Rust doesn't Save your life" Just the essentials like Tyres, Brakes, Steering do, here is a shot I took not to long ago, Foggy morning and in Black and white made a top photo, well I think anyway
Hunting up some Bit for it still, Like a Set of Factory front diff Flanges, I mainly just need good caps for them

here is the ones I have already thanks to the 77' ute, all so shiny, then I painted them
