Thanks for the information. The model number is difficult to see. Is it Devilbiss Finishline 4 FLG-670 Solvent Based HVLP Gravity Feed Paint Gun?

Would like to check some specs and also find some paint supply store in my area. Being so close to D.C. we have to many lobbyists and not paint supply stores.

That's the one! I got a little discount on it. Just over $200 bucks. At least he said it was a discount. He tried to sell me one that was $6-700. That would take the bargain of painting my self right out the window.
The gun also came with several tips or nozzles. I'm using the 1.5 for the single stage paint. They shoot with really low pressure. I found about 19# to work well for me.

Was taking off reflectors and front turn signals and had a bit of a rust issue. The studs broke clean off with out much effort. Any one know if we can still purchase the reflectors for a 69? they are round 2.5". I may be able to solder some studs on there I guess??? Any body got any ideas?

Epoxy some elevator bolts to them, or 3M makes some really good double sided tape.

I haven't ever seen those available. Lesson learned: always try to get a wire wheel on the studs before attempting to unbolt them. Then help it along with some PBR or something similar.

Can the plastic parts be separated from the metal backings?

If so, then you can solder some new studs onto the backs using elevator screws and muggy-weld super alloy #1:

that was my first thought as well. But I don't see how to get them apart. What is an elevator screw. I will have to google that. I'm sure I can remedy the turn signal but the reflectors will be a challenge.

Grote has a 2.5" yellow center mount one but it doesn't have the metal ring and backing like the originals. They are what I'm going to use when it's time for me to replace mine.

These are elevator bolts, they will give you a lot of surface area for adhesive.
