Now Eddie just needs to finish out the tool boxes and seats and a few other things.

Re: 1966 Patrol- Flagstaff AZ
Thank you RiverPatrol, it was painted by one of the painters from one of those TV car shows. He added more black accents and when it is finished it should be even a tad better.

Re: 1966 Patrol- Flagstaff AZ
Greetings Patrolees Worldwide,
I have startling news today.
I had one of my Patrols painted!
Here are a couple of pictures from the finished 66.
We will be replacing the Wilwood MBC with a different Wilwood model as the one installed seems to defective in some way. Researching the correct model # now.
This Patrol infection is all consuming. I have two heavy duty trailers suitable for one patrol. Now I need a 25’ trailer so I can take two Patrols on our sorties.

It looks ready for action! Interesting about the Wilwood. Please follow up with whatever model you find that works better for you.
Beyond any hope for intervention

Paint job looks great David!
Can you expand on the details of the master cylinder issue?

Re: 1966 Patrol- Flagstaff AZ
Hi Paul, The existing Wilwood was likely our fault. I think it was a left over one from when we were trying to find the right one for my 63 when we were upgrading it to front disk breaks...which are working fine BTW...after a year.
The installed Wilwood worked fine for a few miles then the front brakes would get hot then lock up.
If the Wilwood 260-7563 works, I'll be ever so glad and let you know.
Rolling and Patrolling again soon,

Re: 1966 Patrol- Flagstaff AZ
David, If this happen it is typical due to lack of a small clearance between the pushrod and the piston on the master cylinder. When it happens, one way to troubleshoot is to free a couple of turns the nuts holding the MC to the firewall. If doing that free the brakes, then it's definitely the above.
By the way, the Patrol is looking great! The black accents are nice.
