Installed non-USDM hub caps:
Front Before:

Front After:

Rear Before:

Rear After:

The size of the Selectro locking hubs required me to modify the size of the front hub cap opening. (Measured 5 times before cutting, once the process began there was no turning back!)

Re: Zed's 1969 Patrol
Very nice Keith. We can go to church in yours. Saturday night we can drive one of mine.
In reviewing your thread during disassembly it reminds me of a story written in about 1950 in Rhodesia. The hunter bought a series 1 Land Rover and the seller spent a month showing him how to disassemble it down to small enough parts to cross a river in a single dugout canoe. About 3 months into his safari that is exactly what he did. It took a week to ferry all the parts across the river, then two weeks to reassemble it and drive off in it.
You can
but I'd still be on the far bank thanking Land Rover for supplying all the spare parts that were left over:think:

Esteban,
3/8-16 insert.
I froze the rubber before drilling and clamped in wood vice to ensure rubber has a smooth hole.
