While Rob was out picking "something" up, we took our Patrol out for a test drive.
After our usual Friday pizza night - something we've been doing nearly every Friday for EVER! Barritt, Jay and I decided to hunker down and finish up the last handful of things remaining so we could take the beast out for a test drive. And, we succeeded!
First stop -- Gas! The four gallons I put into it from the can brought the gauge up to "E". Well, actually, the gauge really didn't move at all with the four gallons. I added ten more at the pump and the gauge moved on up to "1/2" -- Obviously a built in safety factor!
We still have a few out dash lamps -- So Jay is holding the backup instrument panel illumination device
And, of course, the second stop was for ICE CREAM!
What a blast! We did it... again! It drove even better than before. We do need to chase down a pretty big fuel leak that formed during our drive -- One could almost call it a gusher! At the rate it leaks, we're probably down to two or three miles per gallon... but they were super fun!

Yayyy!!! Great job! Did Mike help? Nice seeing him and his hounds, all smiling. The Family Patrol finally took the family out for a ride! And ice-cream! Topped with ethanol.

No help working as I squeezed a short visit between school and soccer.

Driving through downtown Roseville on our way out to Folsom Lake, Joe took this picture...
Wanna see some evidence that it actually drives? Watch the video!
