Great, Michael. Having the MWB canvas will serve you perfectly for a pattern. It's exactly 300mm longer than the SWB over the tub section. Of course the lateral panels will have to have proportional windows, but the measurements are there.

Are you planning to tackle the sewing yourself?

Loaded a couple bikes in the back. Stabiled and filled the tank(yeah baby, fuel gauge works nice) and drove up to Napa. Heading up was a little rough until the flat spots beat out of the tires. Swung by the Nissan dealership, hit the Java hut (oh yeah, no cup holders) then on to the bike shop. Dropped off the bikes, and headed home. Much smoother ride coming home, so ran it up through 75mph and it was still pulling. Yeah I chickened out, I don't know what my true speed is with the bigger tires is but 75 was too fast.
So after getting home my wife loaded in the Patrol and we went to lunch, and home depot.
All the gauges are running in the very very good range. Started fine after another long sit. Ordered seals for the transfer case. think it's just going to be a driver.
Pulls to the left while braking, so need to look into that. Needs wiper blades, new seat slider, all weather stripping, washer nozzles, you know the nickle and dime stuff.

Another thing I did was buy a composition book for each of my projects, I have enough hobbies that I chase my tail going from one to the next.

Completely dissambled a pair of jump seats in preparation for new upholstery. Now I have to find a sand blast cabinet I can use to strip the paint and corrosion.

When you find the issue to the left pull when braking, would you please let me know the problem you find. I have the same problem.

When you find the issue to the left pull when braking, would you please let me know the problem you find. I have the same problem.

Brake adjustment. Guaranteed.

In addition to the adjustment, if the shoes have some contamination with grease or brake fluid, that wheel will pull. Check at the back of the support plate for any signs of dampness, or take the drum out for a thorough assesment.

Although this was last week, my 1969 Softie was invited to be in the Orinda Car Show. In the immediate area was the restored 1970 FJ40 seen above, a few Willys including a WW2 Jeep complete with machine gun and rifle, and an old Woodie Panel Van.
Tricia (as my younger daughter named her: Patrol --> Patricia --> Tricia) received lots of attention and positive comments and was very popular with the kids, as I was the only owner that permitted kids inside.

If anyone is in the area next year, the Orinda Show is worth a trip. Very small town, but there are a lot of great cars and friendly owners. And cold Czech beer.
