Happy Easter Patrol Fans - Finally a nice day to get the Patrol out and take some photos - This is pretty much "as found" condition. I've just added a few little parts and cleaned her up a bit. Good news - found a toggle switch under the dash - the winch LIVES! - I will have to do some research on the manufacturer - It's old but powerful just like the truck!

Finding stuff like that is always exciting when looking over your new pride and joy!

That's a very nice photo shoot. I like a Patrol in that condition: it still looks great but there is enough patina to show that it was used as intended.

One major problem that I see - those poor hubcaps are screaming for attention. They are totally buried in those aftermarket chrome wheels. They desperately need a set of stock 15" wheels, painted red, to properly display them.

Thats a beautiful Patrol. I do agree with River, the stock red wheels with them caps would be the icing on the cake.

I was told those wheels were stock but obviously the previous owner must not have known. I'd happily add the red wheels if i could find them and I'd love to see a detailed photo if anyone has one. Also like to see a good shot of the stock headliner.

The seller was mistaken, those are not the stock wheels. They look like maybe Chevy wheels. Patrols never came with chromed wheels. You should be able to find a stock set of 15" wheels, they turn up from time to time.

Oh wow the headliner appears to be a hard surface affair. Cardboard or chipboard of some sort. I am sure that is unobtainable stuff at this point. I will likely just use FJ40 headliner material - perforated off white foam backed material. Thanks! - The Red wheels do look better for sure!

The headliner is the perforated, foam backed vinyl. Not sure why is looks like hardboard in the pics. The only hardboard are the trim panels.
