I just replaced mine. we are having a bit of trouble with too much play in the instalation and the brake pads or linings keep on coming off track a bit and are grinding aganst the drum. maybe its just me but the brakes seem to float a bit to much. They dont seem to lock into position. 1969 kl60

Can you show a pic of the situation?
It could be you have the springs in wrong, the cylinders reversed, the adjustment cam not adjusted or a combo of .....

The rear shoes will float a bit. The wheel cylinder is held in place with several tension clips, to allow the shoes to float a bit. It shouldn't be sloppy though.

If you get those, most probably will come with metric threads. Take that into consideration to avoid any damage.

Nissan switched to metric around 1978, so there is good chance of those cylinders being metric as well.

Also, member 'desertrat' has a company, Patrols North, that has brake wheel cylinders. Here is a link: https://patrolsnorth.com/c/brake

I have not purchased from Patrols North yet, but have corresponded with desertrat about some specific parts.
