My apologies in advance for all the questions..................
So how does the Patrol do on those Deestone bias plys? Do they follow the ruts on an asphalt road? Was there a reason you went with bias plys instead of radials (maybe previous experience on FJ40s)?

Hi Paul, I have a set of bias ply Dreestone tires on the red 65 we hunt with out on the 06. They are fine for off road but not so much for asphalt. They have been acceptable off road. I like the BFGs or Cooper STTs better but they are 30% more expensive too. Only the Dreestone's give you the vertical sidewall which has its own advantages off road which is a huge advantage where I use them.

Thanks David for the good info! I expect to use mine on-road probably 75% of the time, so these may not be a good choice for me.
Hopefully FJ40alex will chime in too.
