Did you know that there's a difference in speedo's between right hand drive and left hand drive Patrols? I discovered this while installing it and had to quickly do some modifications! The tabs on the rear housing make all the difference.

Something else occurred to me. I think the location of the mounting tabs also has to do with the year of the Patrol. Starting in '69 the speedometer was installed to the right of the steering wheel, prior to that it was on the left. When the location changed, so did the position of the mounting tabs. Been there, done that.

That's funny! Did the RHD version swap the speedo to the left in '69?

The earlier speedometers have a different connection for the speedometer cable also. So you need to make sure you have the right type for your year of vehicle.....
