Yolan,
I like it too dude! That's a load of work you have accomplished
I have a picture of a media blasted latch here if it helps. I noted that it was steel, brass, and looks like
copper or bronze rivets.

anybody has a picture or drawing to know where and how the springs were located?
Hey Yolan,
I just now am trying to figure out some issues with my '67 door latch mechanism and remembered your shot. Your mechanism looks different so I guess they changed this design. The '77 parts book has a shot but the wrong side (Body 93-1 thru 93-5) so not much help either. Did you figure your problem out?

Sorry, kind of busy around here, lot of work to do in my job, and an 8 months baby are taking all my time, so no progress for the Patrol, it´s already painted and the electrical harness it´s already done, all electrical components works really fine, still some details like the door latch mechanism are in progress, so, i hope next month it´s gonna be a good month for the patrol.
Last weekend i drove for a few minutes a patrol, but it wasn´t mine, it´s a friend´s patrol that bought in the same time that mine and in worse condition, he make an overhaul to the engine, painted and refurbished, but still some details, like no gas tank, and no door latch, but he already tke it to a ride, so i felt like uhmmmmmmmm why i´m not driving mine????

next month it´s gonna be, i hope so.

Sometimes life gets in the way of our Patrol madness, but their always in our heart. It's great that you are still ambitious about working on your Patrol. It's okay if it takes a year or more - it's the end result that counts. Keep on keepin' on.
