In the back was most of the parts taken off the engine.
My extra parts collection has been taken from my parts trucks with some bolted on and some laying loose inside.
1965 with 1967 engine
1963
I have cleaned up some parts to see what is useable and found some differences. The 1963 had the oil filter mount and distributor already removed but I found the blue one in the back. The one on the left I took off the 1967 parts engine and the one on the right is from my 1967. As you can see from the photos various pieces are missing on the 2 later versions. Mine has the inner tube missing but there is a pop weld present that tells me it should have had one. Also both are missing the top inside retainer and the spring. I am really thinking about making an adapter to allow the use of a spin on filter. and have read a couple forums on here.
Most of the distributors are the water protect Hitachi D608-02 but one is a D613-01K it is also water proof and has the correct base and gear drive on it. I think this is the one that was possibly being used in my 1967. 3 have a blue brass label on them and the other 2 have a green sticker label.
The green label with the red wire was out of the 1967 parts engine.
the other green label one and the other distributors were all laying in my truck but the D613 was the only one looking complete, it can be seen in the back of the green truck on the left in the box in the pic of the back of my truck. The condenser is mounted on the inside of this model, the one from the parts engine has the condenser mounted on the outside. All the other caps and distributors were laying in the back of the truck also.
The fuel pumps are from left to right: from the 1967 parts truck, from the 1963 parts truck, from my 1967 and the new one that came with the 1969 and 1967 when I originally bought them. Rob had bought it for the red one because the diaphragm was bad and gas was getting into the crankcase. the two on the left appear original and have the hand primer although the one from the parts engine is missing pieces the lower lever is present. the other two are Kyosan Denki brands like what is on my Land Cruiser. Guessing mine had been replaced sometime in the past.
