Great pictures with the details of the repairs, and the chassis shot.

Wish I will be near you to tackle some rust issues that I have on the rear fender well. Your pictures certainly are a great guide.

Time for more pictures. When I decided to use this tub for the restoration project, I had planned on just cutting the insets into the rear panels. After looking at how dinged up and rusty the old rear flat panels, I decided to just buy some of the rear tub corners from CI TROA on the internet. Here are pictures showing what a job it was to remove the existing panel and reinstalling the new inset panel. Enjoy the show.

You make it look so easy. It looks like you had to alter the end of the tub bench to accommodate for the stamped inset of the rear panel. You obviously have a nice tack welder, too. Excellent work, as usual!

I did have to rebend the metal to take the place of the inset. Actually my tack welder and I have come to a mutually agreed upon no contact order. So I am just drilling holes in the edges of the panels. Welding thru to the metal below and the removing the excess to smooth it over.
The tack welder I have just doesn't do the metal in a larger enough patch so it doesn't hold. Too cheap to get a better one.... :D
