I'm sure there is a post somewhere but not finding it, what's the trick to getting the motor back in?

I can't seem to get the front motor mounts to line up. I removed the right front mount and bolted it.to the motor and it's close but the front right mounts doesn't want to drop back into the frame.

Do I need to remove both front mounts and both both to the motor first and then drop it back down?

From what I recall, you roughly position the engine without the mounts, and then work each one of them, before dropping the engine fully.

Got the motor in, head needs to come back off still to finish checking valve guides, checking everything, and paint but wanted to get the motor off the stand.

Well, we are moving so reassembling the 69 so I can move it next Sunday.

I don't recall the last time it was all one piece, oh wait, it never has been since I have had it, motor and transmission are even in now.
