Sorry, I responded to RiverPatrol.

Keith..yes. I need those. I'm wondering if we can have 5 sets of them made somewhere? Use yours as a pattern?

Greetings,

Coyote Patrol picked it up this week. He indicated it was in resonable condition. It sure looks to have less rust than normal. This one gets painted if it runs.

Coyote Patrol will receive about 60 pounds of parts on Monday with the hope that the distributors, carburators, fuel pumps, oil pumps water pump, master brake cylinder rebuild kit are able to get the motor running with good compression as the seller stated. If it has a good motor then we will keep building it out till it is trail ready. I have all the parts it needs from brake shoes to wiper motors...if it runs.

We don't need the hard top, though only parts of it are OEM, so if anyone is interested let us know.

50Car and Justin will help us with the few remaing parts it needs. So if it runs...it will be Patrolling some time in the future.

Rolling and Patrolling,

Eddie and I will pick it up this weekend and the work will begin…..if it is a runner.

50Car, Zed and Justin have helped with some needed parts and they are much appreciated.

However, we still need a steering wheel horn assembly, any condition. If you have one, I’d be glad to buy it. The pictures show what is missing. I did buy the “Nissan” center piece so all I need are the 1 or 2 locking rings (one is silver/chromeish) that surround the black center plate.

If it is a runner it will likely get the primo PTO winch recently secured from eastern Oregon. If not it goes on Pinto.

It seems the roof is acceptable but the side panels have been replaced. I will not use the roof if anyone needs one. I think I have heard where some side panels are.

David, you are a space case. I told you I have a steering wheel.

I am in fact a space case. I have spent the last two nights in Roswell, NM!

Thank you!

Heading back to Eddie’s lair in the morning.

Well I had a picture but there is no option to upload it.

Ron L. was wonderful like everyone who helps us all rebuild our Patrols.

Eddie thinks it might be as advertised. So we look forward to working our way through this one too. It is very low rust and not leaking anything.

Thank you Ron and with Plateaucal’s steering wheel I will not need to drag my left foot for left turns!

Maybe I should just get rid of the Quick Reply option.

Thank you River Patrol. That option doesn't come up on my phone. I'm back at my Lair.

First, Eddie is going to pressure test the water system to see if the block is cracked. So if not, then we get innto the motor. I will say it is solid, we sure hope the motor is good after several winters. Oil color looked good.

Here we are leaving Ron's compound in Winslow, AZ. 2,200 miles in 36 hours.
