My 1967 had this when I got it.
this Is the 1967 dash I purchase for use in my truck.
here is the dash from my 1969 that I sold a few years ago.

It shows the wires as being 'G' and 'YR'. I do not know the voltage, I'll try to see if it is listed on the regulator itself. Sounds like you did with that Goldwing regulator exactly what this one is doing - it is mounted on the firewall. It supplies two gauges, the temp and fuel gauge.rdarnell wrote:I was just looking at that wiring diagram and I see the regulator but it does not confirm the color of wires. Do you know what voltage the regulator was supplying? My land cruiser has a 7V on the back of the gauge but it was bad so I mounted a honda goldwing 7V regulator on the firewall and just ran wires up to the gauge on it. I might have to do something similar. Looking at the registry mine is 07343 and there are a bunch of 1967's before me and a few 1966's mixed in after me.
I was unable to find where scott user name sjsharpe ever registered his Patrol. I will look under my dash tonight to see if I see anything.
