OK, RVR and Esteban, I look forward to any info you may have.
The reason why I am using the Patrol set up is because I have the 3 wiper system, that really I have doctored up myself and also because I did have another car years ago that used Patrol wipers and it worked great.
Many guys I know use the cable system and usually end up having issues due to sharp bends.
I'll post a body shot later, I will needed to resize my pic to get it to load.

Can anybody tell me where I can purchase new hopefully, those small rubber caps that seal the wiper pivots where the wiper arms attach?

What I used the last time that I serviced mine was valve seals. A tight fit for the axle, and a loose fit for the tube with the threaded portion. At any parts store you'll be able to get some choices.

I was going to snap a picture of mine, and found that they need replacement, since they're badly cracked. Thanks! Without your question it could have gone a couple of more years unnoticed.

Well, I live by the philosophy that I try to give more than I take and although I was hoping take some info from this forum, I have now been lucky enough to find the answer to my question right here Down Under.

I like threads that lead to a conclusion even if it be for historical reasons and in the hope that it may help somebody else later.
So here we have the working wiring details of each wire fro the wiper switch and motor as I have posted pic's of earlier.
All credit to a very helpful and charitable gentleman I have discovered in my travels.

Not a fancy drawing by any stretch of the imagination, but it does work as I've seen it on the bench.

Thanks for the diagram. That might help others that will want to "update" the 2-motor wiper system to the single one.

I pulled out this morning some yellowish diagrams that I did years ago, when I was implementing a push switch (horn type) mounted on the shifter lever so I can actuate the wipers at will. A single touch will make them go one cycle and return to rest. It worked. Later on I replaced that with a wiper delay system from Hella.

Unfortunately I have not marked all the colors of the connectors at the switch and at the motor, so your sketch is great. I will add the following color key from the harness at the switch connector that you have in the upper right corner:

Park ---------> Y
Washer -----> LB
Speed 1 ----> LW
E (Ground) ---> B
Speed 2 ----> LR

Just going back to my question regarding rubber caps for the wiper pivot shafts, it would seem, although not identical, (I know wash my mouth out with soap)
but the Toyota Land Cruiser part number 85135-90300 Windshield Wiper Pivot Cap is a pretty darn good fit and is available usually from
