Wow nice rig mate! superb job. I"ve recently been looking at doing my ol' girl up for a project. Been looking around for some ideas on running gears as the old petrol motor is getting a little sad and needs replacing. A mate at work told me about the Isuzu 3.9 litres and how the army use to put them in their land rovers. How does it run on highway speed with the 3speed? I was thinking of upgrading to a 4 or 5 speed box just for the long drives... i'd like to know what sort of milage you get on the highway because maybe i'll keep the 3 speed. It's great around town because you'r not changing gears all the time... Any information or ideas you can give me about putting in this engine would be a great help. Thanks.
