ah interesting... I'll check that tonight when i get home. didn't think it might have leaked down into the engine through the diaphram rocker arm.... yikes.

The Goss G635 worked well. The smaller outlets didn't seem to cause any issues.

I have since found some repair kits to the old pump. I prefer to have 'original' fittings so I have purchased two different repair kits. I have fitted one and hence have the G635 as a spare.

These repair kits are NAPCO 71-0185 and NAPCO 71-0430. Both purchased on ebay. Hopefully available in the USA somewhere. The leg of the diaphragm is about 2inches.
The kits contain all you need to repair the pump. One contained screws to hold the housing together. I found the spring a bit long and didn't use it.

I have a 66 with the primer on the pump. Is the rebuild kit for that pump different? What part number should I be searching for?

If you have the pump with the primer, it should have the 2" diaphragm leg. It seems from Peter60's post that the NAPCO 71-0185 kit should work for you.

Thanks RP! I've been searching, but no luck with a source. Anything you can think of?

CBlake, Then and Now says they offer rebuild kits and I know they can rebuild yours so maybe call and ask them if they have a kit for yours. Or just send yours in to them for a rebuild.

A quick search looks like the NAPCO 71-0185 has actually superseded to the NAPCO 71-0430. There is a previous listing on eBay from seller anapira83, you might try contacting him.
