It would be cool if you could time that trip with Ron's schedule if possible, so the three of us could meet up... and then you guys could also come over and visit my Patrols, which will probably be scattered from one end of my garage to the other by then...

I wish I could live 10 states closer! You are having such a good time.

Maybe I'll do a cross country tour in my Patrol.

Mark is a really nice guy, he just was unsure about selling some of the items. They were from his dads Patrol. His dad is still around, and has some very hard to find items for the Patrol, such as the original tool box with most of the tools. Im definitely going to try to get ahold of this. He said his dad did around 10 ford 300 conversions in the Patrols over the years here in this area. Sounds like his dad really knows his way around these Nissans. I would really like to meet this guy. Anyway, Mark has a really nice instrument cluster for a 69 and a $350.00 price tag to go with it. He has side doors, glove box door with light, axles, hard tops, visors, door mounted mirrors, radiators, front fenders-not in good condition, 2 windshield frames 1-69 and 1-67, i think he still has a trany and transfer case, several totes with misc. parts which i didnt get a chance to go through. Im headed back there in 2-3 weeks to pick up the rear jumper seats and front bench. I will take a closer look at everything on that trip. :D i did notice he had 1 good 69 front t-sig lense if anyone wants me to grab it for them? he wanted $350.00 each on the 69 doors, i was able to get them for $150.00 for the set. The passenger "right side" door for you Aussies needs some body work. I also got a set of visors, large capacity fuel tank, 2 dome lights with bezels, 2 license plate lights with the glass intact, 2 side emblems in excellent condition. All of it for $300.00. So he is selling stuff for a very reasonable price, he just wont budge on that instrument cluster. G60michael i did not see the carb you need, he doesnt have much for engine parts. :D :) :D

Ron- it was really cool meeting you today. Hope you will have time for a longer visit on your next trip down...

yeah, he has no carbs, and no engines -- he does have a few manifolds, etc, and a trans/transfer case combo. I also seem to remember seeing a handbrake assembly that I will be going back to take another look at...

He has a brand new clutch master cylinder.

He also had 4 starters in various states of condition- I took the best one he had, and after wiping the dust away it is also like new.

Also, and I don't know how rare this is, but I'm assuming they are not very common- he has a rebuilt radiator that still has the little plate on it with the embossed nissan symbol.

I took the starter, one fender emblem, 4 steel wheels (not original patrol- just generic 15x10 steel truck wheels), a complete oil bath filter and lid, and a radiator fan shroud, for 150 bucks.

I'm going back to get that hand brake assembly (if he has the lever and all the linkage to go with it) as well as the one pair of good front springs that he had.
