IMHO - I would personally keep the brake lines, ends and fittings the same size as stock. Simply because it will be easier for the next person who works on it that might not be you. When we offer assistance to people that have questions we can only assume that they are working with stock original parts. It's really hard to explain what to do and what to use when things have been altered. I'm all for improving for safety, don't get me wrong.

I agree with you, I'm still going to change over to steel braid but I will retain the original sizes. I don't see myself selling this anytime soon. The plan is to hand it over to my son when he's ready to drive.
