Yes, I would like to see some pictures if you can.

Question: with sandblasting body panels where there are areas of significant rust, when this rust is removed it will leave holes in the metal because the rust went all the way through the metal. Will the molasses dip do the same thing?

every spec of rust will be removed,the panels look exactly the same as sand blasting only steel is left behind and no distortion of any kind regardless of how thin the panels are,if you look up mollasses rust removal on youtube there is a dude that builds vintage hotrods very good vid

no worries rawml, thank you for the info and the pics!

I'm curious about the molasses thing too... I hadnt really considered dipping the thing myself, I didnt think it could possibly be cost effective and might end up being of questionable legality, too, what with a tub of toxic liquid in my backyard... but 220$ fits my budget nicely. Plus I know that media blasting is far preferable to hand sanding, but I still question how thorough it is when it comes to the inside of the frame parts and am a little scared of the potential for warping body panels.
