Here is the info from my Patrol
It is registered as a 69 but I suspect that is incorrect. 68 is more likely.

That is actually the part number of the engine. The engine number is stamped on a little ledge at about 2:00 from where you look at the frame number. Your Patrol is actually in the registry, under daner's user.

I remember having the "is it a '68 or a '69" discussion with daner. I think that is about the time the term "68 titled/sold as a '69" came about. Yours would be considered a '68 titled as a 69.
