350 in a 67 patrol??

I will be doing the ZX dizzy conversion on my Patrol tomarrow if I cant find a compatible dizzy cap and rotor at the parts store. Working moms: Find helpful tips here on managing kids, home, work — and yourself.

I have a Chevy 350 in a 64 Patrol that had a 4 speed granny low trans and transfer case out of a 73 3/4 ton p/u. The trans went bye bye on my first journey since the engine replacement so I am in the process of installing a Turbo 350 auto trans with a Dana 60 trans. I know, I know, an auto trans in a Patrol???!!! I happen to hate shifting!! I don't ever plan on taking my precious Patrol out rock crawling because I do not have the funds or resources to replace broken parts. That's the beautiful thing about having my name on the pink slip! Anyway... I happened onto a free rear end out of a Dodge D50 2.6 4x4 that literally bolted right into the Patrol. The only reason I changed it is for the centered differential. The great thing about these Patrols is the fact that they are incredibly easy to work on. Don't get me wrong. One day I will own a completely box stock Patrol (that I'll probably buy from Ian!!) to putt around in, but for now I will continue on with my "hobbie" that was given to me for free!
