Cutting Wood
My two oldest were at a swim meet so Connor and I headed up the hill to cut some wood. We had a lot of fun tooling around in tractor mode.

Very nice. The Patrol doesn't have any snow on it, has it been kept under cover?

Not yet but I have it on the leeward side of the house and the previous snow was very light and fluffy so any trace was removed on the journey.

Trailer is an M416 I believe. I looked for a bit and then stumbled on this right down the road..well 45 minutes or so...through the Mud classifieds. I haven't put it on the road legally yet but it is a great unit and tracks well behind the Patrol.

Very hard to come by here in Oz and if you do happen to find one you pay through the nose for them! I'd love to get the specs one day and build one up from scratch. I think they suit the patrol perfectly!MadTripper wrote:miller wrote:Great fun! Man I love that trailer

There is also an M7xx series that are pretty neat. This particular model is very beefy but the military only rated them for 500 lbs. The reasoning behind that was to allow 4 men to carry it if the trailer became unusable in the field. There are handles on each corner and the box could be easily unbolted from the frame and even used as a boat to cross streams or rivers.
I plan on modding mine at some point to add a tailgate. If you head over to www.ih8mud.com and do a search on military trailers, you can see some great mods that have been accomplished.
