Bahahah, that's tremendous! Beautiful shop you have there.
If you need an idea for kayak storage, I made mine out of wood that attach to the walls and they work great. I probably have a picture somewhere, let me look.

A little show off here. I cannot afford this for myself but an older guy up the road hired me to make this system to ease storage and racking. Sorry but I missed the framing of the shot, viewer busted....gotta guess.

New loft is built in the shop... provides additional storage space in shop and a great vantage spot to look down onto the Patrols..complete with man cave area....
