Colorado 64 Patrol

My name is Mike and I live in Colorado. Retired from the Marines 9 years ago and have been living here ever since. Saw my first Patrol on Craigslist about 5 years ago. I ended up buying it not realizing that parts difficult to get. Also realized later that I could have bought a Patrol that was a little more complete. Realized later that Patrols are easier to get if you live in Colorado. The Patrol I saw on Craigslist 5 years ago is actually in the Gallery here under the user name Jeepy in the old NPCA section. It was originally green with a nice coat of black house paint on it. Since then I bought 4 other Patrols. I am in the process of using the parts and pieces from 5 Patrols, a Jeep Wrangler, and Chevy S10 to make one that I can use as a daily driver. I am going a different direction than most as I have ditched the Nissan axles and powertrain in favor of a more modern ones. If I ever finish I hope I'll be able to call it the last vehicle I'll ever need.
