SWERVE is here
Hi all,
Yes another G60 Patrol nut. Turn 40 next week, based in Sydney Australia started the G60 bug in 2006.
Was always into 4WD’s as first car was a Nissan Hardbody in 1989 (Navara D21 KingCab for Aussies) with the Z24 engine. That’s when the Nissan vs Toyota battle was ingrained into me. On to my 2nd GU Patrol, had my last GU3 with the ZD30 for 5 years, now 2 years into my 2010 TB48.
Currently own 4 x G60’s
1972 MWB Soft top, this is my project, on hold due to baby and house extension, but these are a hobby and no need to rush
1973 MWB Soft Top “Showcar” , bought this from an original owner and is in mint condition. Stay’s in storage unless I have a reason to get it out.
1978 LWB Ute “HellPatrol”, this is my work horse, not pretty but does the job, took her across the Simpson Desert in 2011.
1978 LWB Ute “OJ”, bought this rust bucket for the tray, plans are to place on HP, but one more piece of work on hold due to life
Will get some photos up later
In February 2012, we had our 1st son so life has been a period of adjustment along with a house extension which I’m building. I love being a father and can’t wait to get my boy off road.

Another great source of 60 series information. Thanks Swerve. Here, your very own smiley:

Re: SWERVE is here
I was told that when I turned 50, it was the new 40..someone must have lied to me because I sure don't feel 40 any more....

You look like you have white line fever here.
Welcome young lad.
4- quotes of wisdom... obviously not from me:
Forty is the old age of youth; fifty is the youth of old age. - Victor Hugo
Just remember, once you're over the hill you begin to pick up speed. - Charles M. Schultz
Middle age is when your age starts to show around your middle. - Bob Hope
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana. - Groucho Marx
You have been a great help steve and I hope we get some visits from you often as possible.
Happy Bday , next week.
