Okay I know most of you guys are into the classics, but I've got a '91 LWB with a 4.2 six cylinder diesel. I've seen a few of these big boys with turbo's, but unfortunately these were not imported into Cyprus. Does anyone have any idea where I could a turbo kit for my bus? Or perhaps any information on a complete engine swap say to a 350 chevy? Any recommendations for geting a few more horses would be appreciated.

Bigtrol you can check MARKS 4X4 in Australia for an adaptor to use a Chevrolet small block engine.The 350 cu.in. is a good choice.They have a website by the same name.Good luck with your search.

http://www.marks4wd.com He does NOT make anything for the 60 series Patrol any more. He has not for at least a year or more...most of you who been around Patrols know this already. He did make a 5spd that fit right in and bolts to stock tranny and engine. It has super low crawler 1st. I recently found out about this and also the guts of the tranny it comes from. The box Mark made using a mold. Any ways, the only place you will find adaptors are from Patrol enthusiest in Australia or the USA who already have one. That or have one made yourself...
