Hey everyone-I was surfing tonight looking for info on fj45s and came accross this site http://www.vintageoffroad.com/collection.cfm?catagory=1 I've always liked older fj40's and fj45's but am beginning to dislike them-look at the prices they want for very mediocre Cruisers! 32k for a lifted and butchered Cruiser with a Mopar? Am I completely missing something? also check out the mangled land cruiser "utes" for 20k!?

I know what you mean. The other half has been looking for an FJ45 pick-up. Prices range from $10,000 to $80,000. Prices for the FJ40 is just all over the board, no rhyme nor reason to how these things are priced. I try to guess what the (totally stock restored) '73 FJ40 in my garage is worth, and I come up with anywhere from $3,500 to $100,000. Go figure.
