SD33 fuel pump removal??

does anyone know how to remove the fuel pump without the 15mm bolt that Nissan decided to use to pull off the timing gear that goes on the fuel pump shaft?   I have contacted 3 Nissan dealers are they are as helpful as a donkey, I have contacted specialist bolt supliers and tool makers and non can help.   Thank-you Nissan for making this awkward for looks like the sake of it!   Any advice would be appreciated (before I cover everything with penetrating oil and get the hammer out!)
