Patrol Mechanic and Parts Rebuilder

Greetings to all,

Let me preface this typing. He is not looking for work.

After rebuilding six L60 Patrols Eddie's deep mechanical skills have been honed on L60 Patrols. Parts and rebuilders are drying up and Eddie will not be willing to do this forever either. However, while he is willing, please know after he gets Flagstaff Patrol finished you are free to engage him for rebuilding carbs, fuel pumps and water pumps, brakes systems fuel systems, suspensions, drivelines and any and all electrical. He can't rebuild a motor. He doesn't really want to spend his time chasing parts but can. Just chasing the right bolts...they break off 50% of the time during disassembly which drives me insane, but he quickly finds replacement bolts and nuts. Like yesaterday installing the rebuilt water pump into Flagstaff Patrol, 1/2 of the bolts broke while taking the old one off.

He is a one stop shop, not fast, not cheap. He would not be well suited for a person buying a junker, like me, have him rebuild it, then hope to sell it for a profit. That is not possible as the Patrols just don't have that value. It costs me about $40,000 to go bumper to bumper mechanically, then paint, no hard or soft top in this number either. But then I want every mechanical part brought back to new or better like the brake and ignition system.

If you want just the suspension or just the brakes or just the electrical he can estimate that for you ahead of the project.

I think the biggest challenge I face is finding a replacement water temp sensor. He says he can find a new substitute and if he does I'll award him a golden Patrol badge.

I just offer this post to spread the word that if you are stuck, there is a qualified mechanical that can bail you out or finish it for you.

Proof - Try rolling and Patrolling three, four or five L60 Patrols through the mountains and canyons of the 06 Ranch for three twelve hour days without a single mechanical fault. None were running when bought.
