Since the Patrol electrical is a 12 volt system I think the answer would be 12 volts. Maybe the real question is 'how many ohms of resistance' was the regulator. That I don't know.
Much appreciated. I’m sending this info over to Eddie the Eagle. Maybe he can use it to get my gauges working. I’m sure all my sending units are operational though I think two are from Columbia and read in reverse.
Thank you again.

Oh...on the wiring diagram for a 1969 there is a regulator but doesn't specify how many volts.... I thought it was either 7 or 8 volts... later models, the regulator was incorporated into the guage so it didn't need a regulator.
I have a 1967....so I put in a variable regulator into the fuel and temperature guage and it has fixed my issue with the fuel always being full and temperature always being hot. 8v seems to be the go.
