Won't run? Engine, cooling system, fuel pump, carb, clutch, tranny, brakes, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Engine & Mechanical' category are here.

Not unless the pump is severely broken internally. It's all one unit with a couple gaskets and a spacer.

Excuse the dust, spider webs and that weird cotton-like stuff that filled the yard this year!

Thank you for the info. I got a feeling the rebuild kit I bought off Ebay is the wrong kind after reading everybody's input. :?

Fork lift places still have the fuel pump. Doesn’t have the primer lever, but it’s the same.

I can give you the link reference tomorrow.

It seems like the GOSS MECHANICAL FUEL PUMP for NISSAN URVAN E23 H20 G635 in Australia is the same as a FUEL PUMP NISSAN E23 NP-635 in the US. The capital letters are how it's listed on the websites I visited. The NP-635 is on Malibu Marketing LTD and lists for US $22.94. I've contacted them to see if they will confirm it's the same pump.

I really have my doubts about that fuel pump fitting the P engine on the Patrol. But the price is so low that it might be worth giving it a try.

The other sources at forklift parts stores have the pump at $666 and $707. Ouch!

Greetings,

Some of those eBay fuel kits work. Eddie can and has rebuilt several fuel pumps. It is not hard.
