I ran across this posting for a 1969 Nissan with Toyota running gear.

1969 Nissan Patrol
Toyota 22R engine/transmission/running gears/axles-all from an Toyota pickup truck.
Engine has approx. 90k miles as odometer doesn't work.
5 speed manual
4x4-locking hubs Hi and Low works great.
Aftermarket fuel cell.
Tow Hitch w/ light harness.
5 miles on new oil change and radiator flush and transmission fluid/filter flush.
Has a new radiator cooling fan.
Has been painted inside and out with Bedliner -no rust ever., and very cheap and easy to touch up.
This is a very cool rig. Major head-turner and someone will comment on it every time you drive it.
Engine is the always reliable bulletproof 22R and runs awesome I have been driving it all Summer. All the main important stuff works-lights hi/low blinkers etc. and 4x4 . Wipers and gauges do not work and it does NOT have a roof (I only drive it on nice weekends). Small crack in windshield. Car is dirty I will clean it up before any viewings.
This is a really rare fun convertible that still needs some love and money put into but is ready to drive and enjoy now. I have spent over $25k building this over the last 12 years, -originally having it shipped up from a desert in Mexico. You just can't find patrols hardly anywhere now. Very easy/cheap to work on and source parts as it's basically a Toyota truck underneath. I'm sad to see it go, but it's not practical for me to keep it any longer.
NO TRADES. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. CALL OR TEXT FOR MORE INFO.

Looks well done the conversion. Will be interesting to see underneath.
I wonder about the power. Doesn't seem much at 109HP and 138 lb-ft of torque (sourced on the web)
