Re: Alternator Replacement
Except for the pulley, it does.
You’ll have to modify the mounting base at the engine. They sell some adapters for this purpose. I’ll look into my notes tomorrow and post again, along with sources for the pulley.
The pulley should be 3/4”.

Re: Alternator Replacement
Thanks for the reminder as well.
Regarding the adapter for the mounting base for the alternator:
https://alternatorparts.com/alternator-brackets.html
I only have in my notes for a 5/8 wide pulley for a GM alternator. Might not be the same internal diameter as yours. I checked my old alternator to see what pulley it has, and it is 15mm I.D. Years ago I converted to an alternator as well, but at that time I was able to source an exact replacement for the Patrol alternator (Nissan switched to alternators in Nov-1970). I have another one installed at the moment.
Check the diameter of the shaft in you alternator, and let me know. I can send you the pulley.

Re: Alternator Replacement
Thanks for the link to bracket. I'll have to pop the old alternator off, and I'll figure out which bracket works best.
I'll follow up on the diameter of the shaft. Thanks. Patrol has been in the garage all winter, and time to get it ready for spring!
