My progress on filling in the holes and recreating the dashboard. Been going thru what I call electrical forensics on my Patrol. Some of the wires are incorrectly labeled by a well-intended previous owner, leading me down dead end roads.... Am re-running some leads myself and avoiding the factory harness. As this vehicle spent its life in NV, the sheathing on the wires is dry and prone to cracking so I've got no qualms in bypassing and running fresh copper. The voltage meter worked.....and then it didn't. maybe I jostled a wire upon installation? But on the upside, I've got oil pressure. A trade off I can live with!
