PO rewired the connector at the Voltage Regulator

Post by zed »

Good afternoon all,
Upon inspection of the wiring connector at the voltage regulator, I noticed that the prior owner re-wired the wiring harness.

Can anyone provide explanation on why this was done?

Thanks,
Keith

The only reason that I can think of is that a different voltage regulator was installed. If you use one designed for 80s Dodges, they only require 2 wires.

Probably decided later to revert.
