A trip around the BVI in 'Big old Blue'!

Post by richw »

Hi Patrol lovers, I have not posted for a while but here is a shortish rough video of me, my son Ryan and daughter Rosie having a blast.
We intended to go all the way around our beautiful island of Tortola but that would have been a long video. Instead, we did Trunk Bay, Road Town and then West to Smuggler's Cove. After that it was a trip along the windy North Shore Road back home to Brewer's Bay.

It was Ryan's last week here having secured a job in the USA, we have not seen him since.
The plan was to refine this rough cut into a U tube offering but that would mean cutting out the cool sounds!
Here it is in the rough, enjoy!
PS, I know, she needs a new clutch!

That 'rough cut' video is WAY WAY better than my finished videos! :D Beautiful scenery, and great camera and drone work.

You have a really nice family, and a really nice Patrol! Thank you for sharing this.

Very very very very cool! 8-) It's nice to see that the landscape recovered nicely from all the hurricane damage. You certainly are living in Paradise and your Patrol fits in perfect there. Would it be ok if I shared this video on the Facebook Patrol page?

Hi River, let me get back to you on that.
The worry is that the soundtrack snippets will trigger their copyright safeguards and it will be chopped.
I'll check with my IT guy tomorrow.

OK, early in the new year we are going to finish up the video as it was intended.
That means a bit of spiel about the Patrol and what I have done. Hurricane Irma will be part of it too.
Then it can go out on general release.

Glad you like the bare bones of it!

Evening all, sorry this took a while.
I'll do a follow up if there's interest, Ryan is back in the BVI for Thanksgiving and 'Big old Blue' is running well!
