If you cannot find a solution locally, Zepco (http://www.zepco.com/Index.asp) rebuilt my Datsun 240Z cable (several years ago).

There are spedo cables on ebay.com.au. See https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265496952937

I'm not sure if it fits a 69.
Not sure if I will get there.

The RHD speedo cable is shorter than our LHD cables.
Beyond any hope for intervention
