Patrol vs Land Cruiser rim offset

Post by rdarnell »

My 1967 Patrol came with the original split rims but I have decided to use Land Cruiser one piece rims from a 1978. I am not a fan of the original Land Cruiser hubcap so I cut up and and otherwise mutilated 2 sets of hubcaps, stock LC caps and early 1970's Pontiac hubcaps. Someone on Facebook asked question about the difference in offset between the two. I already had tires mounted on the Land Cruiser rims so I had to take a couple measurements to get to the actual offset. The Stock patrol rim is 4-1/2 and the Land Cruiser is 3-3/8 (4-1/4-7/8).
