So, it's off down the old Ford road I go unless anyone else knows of a source for a Clutch friction plate!

Dad has used the Ford disc in his Patrol since the early 70's. The original clutch would slip in boggy sand. So he had a clutch shop beef up the spring pressure in the pressure plate and replaced the disc with a Ford disc.

Actually the entire clutch system is a "Long Style" just as Ford used. The disc and throwout/release bearing are interchangeable. The Ford pressure plate/clutch cover is very close, the bolt circle diameter is off by about a 1/4". Probably could fudge the holes in the pressure plate a bit and make it work in a pitch. But one could certainly drill a new set of holes in the flywheel in between the original holes and use the Ford pressure plate.

Using the Ford clutch opens a whole new world of options for disc materials and pressure plate styles including diaphragm type.
