Really old stuff that got saved. Here are the old Nissan Patrol Club America messages from the 'General' category. Warning, it's dusty in here!

Has anyone else, if you can answer, had trouble posting replies to the message board? I noticed that none of my replies on my work computer and my home computer would take after I checked the save this password button when I entered my ID and password. Now that my computer at work has blown up and I have a new one I can post messages again, so I'm not going to check the save password box anymore.

I have not been able to post a new subject.  Heck, I doubt this will post.

Since I doubt if this is going anywhere, I'll be brief.  Yes, I've been having trouble posting any replies since the last couple of MSN improvements.

I've been able to get this to go through by hitting the "use HTML to create you page"box

I think Gary is on to something. I tried going to Browse and without picking a specific file, I verified that it was in HTML. I then clicked on OPEN. I then clicked on the X in the top right hand corner of that box and returned to the message box and wrote this note. I've struggled with this problem for months and finally dropped out of participating on the site. Stephen Smith.....you need to find out how to fix this. Others may be stiffled from participating as well. I had sent you notes about this late last year. Something changed in the software. Previously, after writing a note and sending, it gave a preview of the note as it would appear and we had to ACCEPT. Someone technically smarter than me needs to help you on this one. Good luck. Thanks Gary for the tip!!!

I can only post from my Unix machine at work. MSN has finally responded to my emails asking them ti fix this. However, their response is "they know about the problem and are working it". No timeline though.David

I've been fighting "non-posting" for months.  Here is what MSN told me: 1. Clicking “View” on the browser menu bar and then 2. Click "Internet Options." 3. Under the General tab, click "Settings” in the “Temporary Internet Files” section. 4. Below “Check for newer versions of stored pages,” make sure “Never” is not checked. Check either “Every visit to the page” or “Every time you start Microsoft Internet Explorer.” 5. Click on “Delete Files” under the Temporary Internet Files section as well.   With AOL Click "Settings", "Preferences", "Internet Properties (WWW)""Temp Internet Files" and click "Settings" then click "Every time you start Internet Explorer"   So far it's working for me.
