A hello from a new member

Hello all My name is Farrel and last year I aquired a L60 in good shape but not running. I have to admit that at the time I did'nt now a thing about Patrol's having never seen one befor, but just knew that a 4x4 that lookd this great and that was as rare as they seemed had to be restored to it's former glory. The Patrol's body and engine are complete all except a rear tail light chrome ring and lens. I will need to go through the engine and get it running, needs a full paint job inside and out ( no body damage) and have the seats recovered. I guess I have my work cut out for me this summer. So whats a Patrol like to drive???Do I really have a unusual truck???How many are there in the USA??Are parts really hard to come buy???Am I asking to many questions for a new Patrol owner??

So whats a Patrol like to drive??? -Sherman Tank. Do I really have a unusual truck??? How many are there in the USA?? - Couple Thousand in the US Are parts really hard to come buy??? - No worst than anything else that is 30 years old.

Welcome Farrel, I've had my Patrol for 20 years now in NV. and only have seen 3. Treat it good and it will run forever, I run straight 30wt in mine and have over 100,000 miles on it. It has been my daily means of travel for 18 years. I still find parts at my local Nissan dealer (although there is usally a 2-3 day wait)
